What does this course involve?

Studying the Level 2 Diploma in Business, you will develop the knowledge and skills required to successfully market, manage and communicate in the business sector.

You will learn interpersonal skills and customer service skills. You will have the opportunity to develop skills to build business relationships with a wide variety of customers, both internal and external.

You will study units such as:

Personal selling in business

Customer relations in business

Business online

Working in business teams

Studying at our Broadstairs campus, you will be learning in a unique way with access to The Yarrow Hotel; our on-site, aspiring four-star training hotel.

This Study Programme will include English and maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.


What qualifications do I need?

4 Ds or 3s including English and maths or a relevant full level 1.


Studying at our Broadstairs campus, you will be in a unique situation having access to The Yarrow Hotel - our on-site aspiring 4 star hotel. Assessment will be through observed, project completion and reflective accounts and planning and running your own business activity.

Fees & Costs

If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials.

For adult learners (over 19) financial support towards the costs of your Study Programme may be available. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such as travel, equipment and childcare.

On successful completion, you could gain employment within the hospitality industry, or you could continue your studies and undertake a HNC in Hospitality Management or Business.
