What does this course involve?

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing Studies allows you to expand your skills and knowledge you already posses by monitoring the health and safety in the salon for your colleagues and your clients, supporting colleagues with their consultations and promote services and products to your clients. You will also learn how to develop a variety of looks using advanced cutting techniques and increase your ability to style and dress your client’s hair. You will also increase your knowledge on colouring products and techniques, bridal hairstyling and perming.


What qualifications do I need?

You will need to have completed a Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in Hairdressing, or equivalent. You will also need a GCSE grade A-D in English. All candidates will be reqired to attend an interview prior to starting on the course.


For each unit the following will need to be completed: A written assignment A variety of practical assessments One exam

All prices quoted are given as a guide, and may be subject to change. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such a travel, equipment and childcare. The fees for this course are payable by all learners. The College policy regarding remission of fees does not apply to this course.

On successful completion you could gain employment within the hairdressing industry in salons, on cruise ships or you could become a self-employed hairdresser.
