Over two years, students will achieve a Level 2 Certificate in Cookery.
You’ll learn key skills within the professional cookery industry such as larder, pastry, baking, and butchery along with general cookery and kitchen skills. You will also learn skills related to the basics of running a kitchen environment. You can look forward to the opportunity to gain real work experience in our Hotel restaurant and College refectory.
Students will have access to first-class training facilities in both The Yarrow hotel and College refectory. Our on-site training hotel has been specifically designed to help our students have the best start in their catering career. There are state-of-the-art kitchens and a working restaurant which will provide a very hands-on experience for all our students, giving them the extra edge when entering employment.
