Our award-winning Supported Learning Programmes are tailor-made to support young people and adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to gain Life and Work Skills while studying in a supportive environment.
The College’s Supported Learning Programmes are based in brand-new facilities, including an accessible computer room, personal care facilities, a working shop and flexible area, which support holistic and realistic learning. High-quality teaching takes place in small group sizes, ensuring excellent levels of support. This promotes increased confidence for students, allowing them to take ownership of their learning. Students are encouraged to transfer skills learnt at the College into the home or to work placements which can be internal or external.
East Kent College has bespoke provision to meet the needs of young people on the autism spectrum and a brand new facility, the Hub. For further details see
