This course is designed for practising or potential Team Leaders to develop the skills and knowledge for effective team management.
The weekly hours will depend on the Apprenticeship qualification and employer.

To register your interest please contact Support Services: Broadstairs - 01843605062 (or email firstname.lastname@example.org) Candidates gain the Team Leading Apprenticeship Level 2 framework qualification by completing and achieving: Competency Qualification: ILM NVQ Certificate in Team Leading (Work-based evidence portfolio). Technical Certificate: ILM Certificate in Leadership and Team Skills Level 2. Maths, English and ICT: Fulfilled by completion of Maths, English and ICT at Level 1. ERR: Employment Rights and Responsibilities (Workbook). PLTS: Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All qualification elements must be achieved to complete the Apprenticeship framework. There are a number of mandatory units concentrating on working in a business environment to be completed. Apprentices will be required to complete a number of optional units linked to specific skills requirements. There is an expectation that Apprentices will undertake personal study to demonstrate knowledge of the subject area, compile a portfolio of work-based evidence and complete assessments to fulfil the technical certificate and functional skills requirements.
Apprentices should be employed within an appropriate environment. They will be invited to attend a short informal interview prior to the course commencing and to undertake initial assessment to demonstrate the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required. Apprentices will be allocated a personal tutor for guidance throughout the duration of the course.
The process of assessment requires the demonstration of skills together with appropriate knowledge and understanding to a specified standard. Assessment of the NVQ is based on a combination of observation, questioning and collection of evidence from the workplace.
This course is fully funded if the apprentice is aged under 19. If the apprentice is 19+ then a £500 employer contribution is required.If the apprentice is 24+ please contact us for further information.
On successful completion, you could progress onto studying a Level 3 Management Advanced Apprenticeship
