What does this course involve?

This qualification allows learners to develop and practise the skills needed for employment and/or career progression in Adult Care in England.

The qualification acts as a progression route from the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care to the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.

The course is designed to support you in developing your skills for a number of job roles in the adult care sector.

You will meet with an assessor once a month where you will be set units to work on for your diploma.

Requirements

What qualifications do I need?

To undertake this qualification you will need to be aged 19+, and already have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

To undertake the qualification you will need to be employed within the care sector and working a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Assessment

The qualification involves various assessment methods such as; observations, witness testimonies, written assessments, verbal questioning and product evidence.

You will meet with an assessor once a month where you will be set units to work on for your diploma.
