What does this course involve?

You will learn to lead a team in a real working hotel in a variety of fundamental roles within the hospitality industry. Studying the Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality, you will develop the knowledge and customer service skill required for a successful career in a hospitality leadership role.

You will study subjects such as:

The hospitality industry

Providing customer service in hospitality

Accommodation operations in hospitality

Hospitality business enterprise

Marketing for hospitality

Industry related projects in hospitality

Studying at our Broadstairs campus, you will be learning in a unique way with access to The Yarrow Hotel; our on-site, aspiring four star training hotel.

This Study Programme will include English and maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.

Requirements

What qualifications do I need?

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade Cs or 4s or equivalent, including maths and English. Students may be able to progress from Level 1 vocationally relevant programmes.

Assessment

You will learn through observed practical sessions, project completion and reflective accounts. Assessment will be through submission of coursework.

Fees & Costs

If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials.

For adult learners (over 19) financial support towards the costs of your Study Programme may be available. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such as travel, equipment and childcare.
