Level 3 - Art and Design
15 hours per week
You’ll learn the multiple skills needed for success in the Creative Arts industry. You will study fine art, graphic design, print making and photography and develop other specialist visual recording techniques.
You can look forward to the chance to work with industry partners on creative design projects, and you will have access to all the latest creative design technology in our new Creative Industries Centre.
This Study Programme will include English and maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.
You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at C grades or equivalent, including maths and English. Students may be able to progress from Level 2 vocationally related programmes.
You will learn through practical and written assessments and build a portfolio of work.
If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials.

Please note: For those claiming state working age benefit this course is classed as part-time.
On successful completion you could progress on to one of our HNC programmes. Alternatively you could gain employment within the creative industries.
