What does this course involve?

You’ll learn all the essential skills needed to deliver excellent customer service in a hospitality setting. Working within the College’s restaurant and at external events such as business conferences, lunches and even royal events at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, you will get hands-on experience of what is needed to ensure the smooth management of formal events.

You can look forward to the opportunity to undertake work experience in royal households or foreign embassies.

This Study Programme will include English and maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.

Requirements

What qualifications do I need?

You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at C grades or equivalent, including maths and English. Students may be able to progress from Level 2 vocationally related programmes.

Assessment

You will learn through practical sessions in our College restaurant and assessment will be through written work and completed portfolios.

Fees & Costs

If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials. For adult learners (over 19) financial support towards the costs of your Study Programme may be available. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such as travel, equipment and childcare.
