Literacy and Numeracy: Fulfilled by completion of Maths and English at an appropriate level.

All qualification elements must be achieved to complete the apprenticeship framework.

There are a number of mandatory units in the workplace to be completed. Apprentices will be required to study a number of optional units linked to specific industry requirements.

There is an expectation that candidates will undertake personal study in order to demonstrate knowledge of the subject area, and compile a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate their competence.

Requirements

What qualifications do I need?

Apprentices should be employed within an appropriate Health & Social Care environment. Apprentices will be invited to undertake initial assessment to demonstrate the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required. Apprentices will be allocated a personal tutor for guidance throughout the duration of the course.
