What does this course involve?

You will undertake a range of creative projects to develop skills in coding, app design, web design and video. This is a hands on creative computing course in which you will work with programmable devices such as the Arduino and Raspberry Pi. You can look forward to developing a range of computing skills in a creative and business context and working alongside our commercial creative agency and our film, photography and business students.


What qualifications do I need?

4 Ds or 3s including English and maths.


Assessment will be through a combination or practical, written, and presentation assignments. This is a mainly practical programme using research and written work as supporting evidence and development of knowledge and understanding. Continual assessments occur throughout the course. English and maths are exam based subjects.

Fees & Costs

If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials.

For adult learners (over 19) financial support towards the costs of your Study Programme may be available. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such as travel, equipment and childcare.

On successful completion you could progress on to one of our Level 3 programmes in computing, business or a creative industry course such as creative media production or art and creative design.
