What does this course involve?

This Programme is for practitioners who participate in the internal quality assurance process within a centre/organisation.

You will learn on the job in a work environment or in workshops, studying units including:

Functions of internal quality assurance in learning and development, The roles of practitioners involved in the internal and external quality assurance process, Understanding how to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment, Evaluating requirements for equality and diversity, Understanding techniques and criteria for monitoring the quality of assessment internally and Explaining the appropriate criteria to use for judging the quality of the assessment process.

You will also study how to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment, standardisation requirements, the types of feedback, support and advice assessors need to maintain and improve the quality of assessment, and understanding how to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment.

Requirements

What qualifications do I need?

You will already be employed at a senior or managerial level, and have a great deal of professional experience.

Assessment

Assessment methods include assignment, professional discussion, observation, work products and Q&A.
